"It is truly an honor to serve as the principal of Paul Laurence Dunbar Middle School. I am committed to excellence and to ensuring that all students reach their highest potential.

This year, we celebrate a DECADE of being an “A ” school! Congratulations to the staff and students at PLDMS for their phenomenal performance and for ensuring we maintain our “Tradition of Excellence”!

2012 Spelling Bee Winners

1st Place winner Kayla Sheffield

2nd Place winner Aliya Zuberi

Both students will be participating in the Lee County Spelling Bee in March for a chance to win a trip to the Scripp's National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C.
