What is ParentLink?

ParentLink is a school-to-home messaging system that gets important information to the people who need it the most, parents. The program fosters involvement in the improvement of student achievement by all stakeholders through meaningful two-way communication with teachers and school administrators. ParentLink also ensures everyone gets the message by making information available via the Internet, telephone, and printed letters.

What type of information is provided by ParentLink?

ParentLink provides daily notification via telephone in the event a student is absent or tardy. A quarterly grade and attendance history report is sent via electronic mail each week on Friday evenings if you have an account on file with the school. All parents also have access to student information on the web with use of a confidential login and password. Web based information includes attendance history, quarterly grades summary, and individual assignment grades. School administrators can also send/post important voice messages via the telephone, electronic mail and/or the web.

How do I know if my contact information is correct?

If you cannot log in, please call the school @ 334-1357 to update.

How do I access the student information on the web?

The address to the Lee County School District’s Parent Link login site is http://parentlink.leeschools.net

What are my login credentials?

PARENT LOGON INFORMATION:

The Parent logon format is as follows:
User name is the StudentID of the eldest child in the School District, living in the student’s household, and your first and last initial.  The student’s household includes all students living at the same address, with a common parent or guardian.        
The password is the birth date of Students ID used as the User name, defined in MMDDYY format.

For example: Jane Doe's eldest child's in the household is 12345678, her user name would be 12345678JD

                    Jane Doe's eldest child's birth date is January 1, 1965, her password would be 010165

Please remember to change your password to something unique, that you can remember after logging on for the first time. 

GRADES AND ATTENDANCE:

Grades should be updated weekly on Wednesday, and are reflective of the previous week's grades.

If you have a question about your child's grades or attendance, or are concerned about a specific grade or assignment, please contact your child's school directly for the most up-to-date information.

CAFETERIA BALANCES:

Cafeteria balances are updated nightly.   Depending on timing, they might not include the current day's activity.

To update your contact information (telephone number or e-mail address) please contact the Information Specialist at your child's school.  Contact information cannot be changed directly in the ParentLink System.

GETTING HELP:

If you are having difficulty accessing ParentLink or finding the information you need, please contact your child's school and ask to speak to the "ParentLink Contact Person".  The ParentLink Contact Person will be able to assist you in using the ParentLink system.
