PARENTS

We hope to help parents keep informed about all that goes on at school, and to communicate with them about their student.

To that end, we provide contact to parents in many ways. Some of the various contacts are:

  • Parent-Link which is also our Homework Hotline

  • phone calls
  • interim reports every three weeks (Check your child's planner for dates)

  • Individual Educational Plan (IEP) conferences
  • Academic Improvement Plan (AIP) conferences

    • Parents have many ways they can contribute to our school. The Parent, Teacher, Student Association is an active organization, and is always looking for members and volunteers to help with various projects to support students and teachers. They meet once a quarter. Past projects include the Spaghetti Dinner, Book Fair, Harvest Dance, Teacher Appreciation Lunch and helping with picture day.

    While some parents are not able to volunteer for large projects, there are often small parts of large projects that contribute to the overall success. Other parent opportunities include mentoring, judging at the Science Fair, eighth grade dance committee, chaperoning field trips, stuffing envelopes, and other office type jobs.
