SPORTS - INTRAMURALS

The Physical Education Department is dedicated to developing the child mentally, emotionally, socially as well as physically. An active curriculum is provided, which includes fitness testing, team and individual sports, group games, adapted physical education and health. All 7th and 8th grade students may choose to enroll in a yearlong or a semester curriculum, while our 6th graders are required to take the yearlong class. Each student is required to wear the PLDMS P.E. uniform.

The Intramural program offers seven after school sports: cross country, basketball, volleyball, soccer, track & field, tennis and golf. To participate in the intramural program each student must have at least a 2.0 GPA, good conduct and good standing in all classes. Our students hold many county championships.
