The Eagles’ Nest provides a safe, supervised, and engaging environment for students before and after the school day. Programs include homework support, enrichment activities, sports, and snacks.

- 7:00 AM - 9:15 AM
- After Care
- Dismissal - 6:00 PM
- Note
- Program operates on school days only. No after care on early release days. Program may close occasionally.
Before and After Care Registration Form 25-26
Families can complete registration for the FY 26 PLDMS Before and After Care Program by accessing the form linked below.
Fees & Payments
- Registration: $25 per child / $40 per family (non-refundable)
- Before Care: $25 per week
- After Care: $25 per week
- Payments due weekly; accounts must be current for a child to attend
There are no prorated amounts unless the district cancels school. Returned checks incur a $35 fee and may result in service suspension until resolved.
Online Payment
Paul Laurence Dunbar Middle School can now receive online payments for FY 26 PLDMS Before and After Care Program students through SchoolCash. Setting up your account is easy and convenient.
Pickup & Important Policies
Drop-off and pickup are at the front entrance. Students not picked up by 4:30 PM will be placed in After Care and charged accordingly.
Late pickup fee: $1 per minute after 6:00 PM. Late fees must be paid before returning to the program. After three late pickups, fees double.
Program follows the school discipline policy and the District Code of Conduct. Only clear water bottles allowed. Cell phones may be restricted if abused.
